US markets continued to rise, driven by the AI infrastructure story. The Nasdaq 100 (NASDAQ: NDX) reached a new high. Focus was on Cerebras Systems. According to Reuters, the stock opened about 89% above its offering price, with its valuation temporarily exceeding $100 billion. The market sees Cerebras as a potential competitor to NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) in the area of AI inference and datacenter infrastructure.
