Markets The S&P 500 (SPX) closed 0.09 percent lower at 7,751 points ahead of the upcoming US inflation data. The Nasdaq 100 (NDX) lost 0.25 percent to 29,649 points. The DAX (DAX) maintained a level of 26,324 points with an increase of 0.02 percent, while the Nikkei 225 (NI225) rose by 2.08 percent to 66,970 points. The yield on ten-year US Treasury bonds (US10Y) increased by about 4 basis points to 4.70 percent. WTI crude oil (CL1!) rose by 5.09 percent to $82.16 due to the conflict with Iran and the restricted oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz. Company Nvidia (NVDA) is reportedly working with financial firms on a financing package of up to 500 billion dollars for the expansion of AI data centers. In light of the increasing AI demand, Intel (INTC) plans a stock placement of 15 billion dollars to finance its chip strategy.
