The S&P 500 (SPX) closed nearly unchanged at 7,709 points amid rising oil prices and ongoing interest rate concerns. It gained 0.03 percent. The Nasdaq 100 (NDX) increased by 0.05 percent to 30,484 points. The DAX (DAX) lost 0.57 percent to 25,267 points. In Asia, the Shanghai Composite fell by 1.61 percent to 3,888 points. The yield on ten-year US Treasury bonds (US10Y) rose by 4.8 basis points to 5.16 percent. Brent crude oil (UKOIL) increased by 4.09 percent to $107.30 per barrel.

Company

Oracle (ORCL) invoked force majeure against the developer of a data center in New Mexico due to delays. The stock lost 4 percent according to market reports. SoftBank (9984) raised more than 11 billion dollars with a record loan to finance its stake in OpenAI. For this, the company offered yields of up to 9.75 percent. ASML (ASML) was at the center of American-Dutch discussions regarding potential further restrictions on chip equipment.

Uber (UBER) reportedly secured a takeover agreement with Delivery Hero, thereby changing the management planning of the Berlin delivery service. Volkswagen (VOW3) began robotaxi rides in the United States through its subsidiary Moia. Wacker Chemie (WCH) referred to progress in its cost-cutting program after a record loss. Macroeconomics
